Synopsis
In the Hidden Kingdom, animals and humans once lived in harmony until the trickster HighRoller deceived the animals into opposing humans. Commander ApeTrully formed the task force Big Green to reunite them and fight HighRoller and the Zebra Brothers. Episodes typically follow a formula: ApeTrully visits an animal castle with a gold gift, is captured, and calls First Squad. The squad descends through tubes, rides turtle tanks, and launches over water to reach him. After a contest revealing the animals' nature-based abilities, the animals agree to join Big Green and are assigned duties. The series is loosely based on the ancient Chinese novel Water Margin, focusing on First Squad and Second Squad.
