The Brak Show was preceded by a two-part special titled Brak Presents the Brak Show Starring Brak, which aired in February and March 2000. The series itself premiered with a stealth pilot, 'Leave It to Brak,' on December 21, 2000, at 5:15 AM, before officially launching on Adult Swim's debut night on September 2, 2001. The show ended on December 31, 2003, with 27 broadcast episodes. A webisode was released on Adult Swim Video on May 24, 2007, serving as the de facto series finale.
