Scan2Go is an animated television series co-produced by d-rights, NewBoy, SBS Productions Inc., and Stonebridge Capital Inc., directed by Mitsuo Hashimoto. The series is set in a futuristic universe where various species engage in races using miniature automated toy cars controlled by special cards. It was announced in 2008 as an international co-production between Japan and Dubai, and consists of 52 episodes targeting boys aged 4 to 13.

Background

The series follows Kaz Gordon, a young protagonist leading 'Team Jet' (originally the 'Junior Earth Team'), who begins his Scan2Go racing career on Earth, a planet not yet enamored with the trend. His goal is to become the preeminent Scan2Go racer, forging new friendships along the way. The narrative intensifies with the introduction of Ryu Kaizel, a formidable antagonist who dismantles the Scan2Go committee and seeks to manipulate humanity's negative emotions to annihilate the universe.
