The Flintstone Kids is an American animated television series produced by Hanna-Barbera that aired on ABC from September 13, 1986, to November 14, 1987. It is an alternative incarnation of the studio's original series The Flintstones, depicting juvenile versions of the main characters as tweens. The series was the first Flintstones series not to have a laugh track, and Mel Blanc and Henry Corden are the only cast members from the original series to reprise roles, with Blanc voicing Dino and Corden voicing Fred.

Lore & Background
The series follows the adventures of Fred Flintstone, Barney Rubble, Wilma Slaghoople, Betty McBricker, and Dino as tweens, alongside friends Nate Slate, Philo Quartz, and Dreamchip Gemstone. They contend with bully Rocky Ratrock and his Badrotten Bunch. The show was intended only for two seasons and was retired in favor of A Pup Named Scooby-Doo, another Hanna-Barbera series that de-aged its core cast. Reruns were added to ABC's Saturday morning schedule in late 1988 after the failure of The New Adventures of Beany and Cecil.
