Redd
A sly fox who sells art from a tent in City Folk, always ready to peddle a forgery.
Redd is a fox who operates as an art dealer, first appearing in the original Animal Crossing (2001) for the GameCube. In Animal Crossing: City Folk, he appears as a special visitor selling art from a tent, not a permanent shop in the city.
Lore & Background
In Animal Crossing: City Folk, Redd appears as a special visitor who sets up a tent to sell art. He does not run a shop in the city, and furniture auctions are handled by Wendell, not Redd.
Reader's Guide
Redd's shop in the city is one of the places where players can acquire furniture. Unlike Tom Nook's store, where items are bought at a set price, Redd's shop uses an auction system. Players must bid against the game's AI or other players (via online connectivity) to win items.
