Music career
Jordan Kelley and Jason Huber first crossed paths at Nashville Shores, a water park, while riding boogie boards in the wave pool. Both studied music technology at Middle Tennessee State University. Kelley hails from Lincoln, Nebraska, and Huber from New Jersey. After five years of friendship, they formed CHERUB.
The duo has performed at major venues like Red Rocks Amphitheater and Ryman Auditorium, and they produce music using Reason, Pro Tools, and Ableton. Their 2014 single "Doses & Mimosas" reached number 43 on Billboard's Rock Airplay chart and number 23 on the Alternative Songs chart, topped the Hype Machine chart, and has over 69 million YouTube views. Their debut album, Year of the Caprese, came out on Columbia Records. In February 2017, they co-headlined the "Your Girlfriend Already Bought Tickets Tour" with The Floozies.
Following a nearly two-year break, they returned in 2018 with four singles: "All In," "Dancing Shoes," "Body Language," and "Want That," which they promoted on the Free Form Tour.
