Did You Know?

Production

Jim Wynorski directed the film, having built a reputation for helming numerous sequels such as Deathstalker 2. He later stated, "I hate that film... It was tough to make. I was handed a script, and I didn't think it was very good."

The only sequence he liked involved a female student being sucked into a Pac-Man machine, but that proved too expensive to film. Instead, Wynorski drew on a dream to recreate a scene from It's a Wonderful Life (1946), which was possible because that film was in the public domain. He called that sequence "the one standout aspect of that film, 'cause it's so weird." Brigitte Nielsen appeared in a small role after Wynorski met her at a party and they played pool together.

He challenged her to a wager: if he won, she would work for scale on his next picture; if she won, he would "put on a maid's outfit and clean your house." Wynorski won the game, and Nielsen performed a day of work on the film. He said she did "an ok job" and was not difficult to work with, though she was not fully prepared and needed to go over her lines, but ultimately "she did a great job."
