He Is Legend
American rock band from Wilmington, North Carolina.
He Is Legend is a band originally described by AllMusic as a post-hardcore group known for a hybrid of metalcore and screamo before shifting into stoner metal and hard rock.[1] A 2022 review on Metalsucks.net called the band "the perfect example of a cult band"[2] The same review noted that the response to their 2019 album White Bat might have given them long-deserved credit, had it not been released just before the pandemic.[2]

What the cited sources add
The same review noted that the band has not lost their knack for jerking listeners around, citing the track "Honey from the Hive" as bridging southern rock and violent breakdowns with a psychedelic sheen.[2] The review also described the title track "Endless Hallway" as encapsulating the band at their most accessible, with groove metal barbarism and underlying organ licks.[2] A 2019 review from Everything Is Noise stated that with White Bat, He Is Legend are "intent on devouring your time and attention"[9] A 2011 Lambgoat article reported that a source who had previously broken the news of the band's hiatus said the band was recently in the studio recording material for a new album.[10]
