Blue Ash (band)

Ohio power pop band with two albums and a 2003 reunion.

Blue Ash was an American power pop band formed in Ohio in 1969 by bassist Frank Secich and vocalist Jim Kendzor. They signed with Mercury Records in late 1972 and released their debut album No More, No Less in May 1973, touring with acts such as the Stooges, Bob Seger, Aerosmith, and Ted Nugent. After being dropped by Mercury in May 1974, they signed a singles deal with Playboy Records in 1977, releasing the album Front Page News in October 1977. The band disbanded in 1979, reformed in 2003, and continued intermittently until guitarist Bill Bartolin's death in 2009. A later configuration toured Spain in June 2016.
