History

After opening for other acts, JD McPherson suggested a collaboration and ended up producing their first record. It climbed to number 23 on the Americana Billboard chart and earned positive notices. In 2017, they popped up in the revived season of David Lynch's Twin Peaks, playing the song "Mississippi," which also made the show's soundtrack. Later that year, Dan Auerbach brought them to his Nashville studio to co-write; two tracks from those sessions, "Got a Lotta Love" and "Blue as the Ocean," ended up on their album Easy Way, released March 1, 2019 on their own Walkie Talkie Records after leaving Red House. The pandemic forced a break, so they set up a home studio for their third album. On December 3, 2021, they announced One Day, which came out on February 11, 2022.
