Plot

Ashley returns to her hometown and moves in with her Aunt Tanya after a troubled childhood marked by her mother's disappearance and abuse from her father. She soon experiences strange paranormal occurrences and realizes she is possessed by a demonic force. Childhood friend Hannah and local pastor John attempt to help, but the demon proves powerful. Reverend Michael, an expert in demonology, joins the fight. The exorcism ritual is rushed, and its outcome is left ambiguous.

Reception

The film holds a 38% rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on eight reviews. Adam Keller of Film Threat gave it a score of five out of ten. Dennis Harvey of Variety wrote a negative review, stating that the film creaks more than it creeps and that various scenes appear to be missing from the disjointed debut. Noel Murray of the Los Angeles Times gave a positive review, noting that the movie lurches impatiently toward scenes horror fans have seen before.
