The Mortuary Collection

Plot

In the small island town of Raven's End during the 1980s, mortician Montgomery Dark runs the Raven's End Mortuary. A young woman named Sam arrives, curious about a child-sized coffin from a recent funeral, and reveals she is responding to a Help Wanted sign. Montgomery agrees to interview her and gives her a tour, during which he offers to tell stories about those who have died in Raven's End.

The first story takes place in the 1950s. A young woman named Emma, at a party, goes to the restroom to check wallets she has pickpocketed. She becomes curious about the medicine cabinet and pries it open, finding a tentacled monster inside that kills her and drags her body into the cabinet before turning off the lights.

The second story is set in the 1960s. Frat boy Jake distributes condoms on campus, promoting sexual liberation to attract women to frat parties. After having sex with a woman named Sandra, he secretly removes his condom. The next morning, he develops a rash and visits Dr. Harold Kubler, discovering a creature growing inside his stomach.

Jake is caught in a surprise celebration by his fraternity for sleeping with 67 women, but they release him when his water breaks. At Sandra's house, her parents lay him on a table to help birth the baby. Sandra is angered when Jake admits he removed the condom, and she leaves him with her parents after making a phone call to another man. Sandra's mother explains the baby must exit the same way it entered, and Jake's penis explodes, ripping open his abdomen and killing him. The mother takes the monstrous baby upstairs to a crib in a room full of other monstrous children.
