Lore & Background

Georgina Kincaid is introduced in Succubus Blues, the first novel of the series. She works a wholesome, dull position at a Seattle bookstore, but her real job is to tempt men to sin, scoring points for team Hell and recharging her own magical essence. The status quo is upset when her favorite author comes to town for a book signing and immortals around her start inexplicably dying.

Reader's Guide

The Georgina Kincaid series, written by Richelle Mead, comprises eight titles: Succubus Blues (2007), Succubus on Top (2008), Succubus Dreams (2008), Succubus Heat (2009), Succubus Shadows (2010), Succubus Revealed (2011), and the novella City of Demons (2016), which takes place between the second and third novels. The series is written in first-person perspective from Georgina's point of view. Film rights for Succubus Blues have been sold to Fox TV. Succubus Heat received a 3-star review from RT Book Reviews, which found it amusing but said the plot dragged; it was also 4th equal in Publishers Weekly's BHB Reader's Choice Best Books of 2009.
