Let's Eat Grandma are a British experimental pop duo, formed in 2013 by Rosa Walton and Jenny Hollingworth. They call their music "experimental sludge pop" and have put out three studio albums: *I, Gemini* (2016), *I'm All Ears* (2018), and *Two Ribbons* (2022).
Walton and Hollingworth grew up in Norwich, Norfolk. They first met at age four in reception class and started making music together when they were 13, initially as a playtime activity. Their earliest songs were titled "The Angry Chicken" and "Get That Leg Off the Banister." The band name comes from a grammar joke about comma placement. After becoming part of the local Norwich music scene, they caught the attention of musician Kiran Leonard, who passed their work to their future manager.
Their debut album, *I, Gemini*, mostly consists of songs written when the duo were younger. It includes the singles "Deep Six Textbook," about playing truant, and "Eat Shiitake Mushrooms," inspired by graffiti they saw in Norwich. Released by Transgressive Records on 17 June 2016, the album got positive reviews from *NME*, *The Guardian*, *Pitchfork*, and *Q*.
Their second album, *I'm All Ears*, came out on 29 June 2018, preceded by the singles "Hot Pink," "Falling Into Me," "It's Not Just Me," and "Ava." It earned widespread critical acclaim and was nominated for Best Album at the Q Awards.
On 20 September 2021, they released the single "Hall of Mirrors" with a video. In November 2021, they announced their third album, *Two Ribbons*, set for April 2022, featuring 10 songs, and released the title track and its music video that same day. They worked with producer David Wrench on the album.
For solo projects, Rosa Walton wrote the song "I Really Want to Stay at Your House" for the video game *Cyberpunk 2077*, which later appeared prominently in the 2022 anime series *Cyberpunk: Edgerunners*. No other solo projects or albums have been officially released or announced by either member as of the knowledge cutoff.
