Reader's Guide

The achievement of becoming Al Hilal's all-time top scorer is a milestone reached after years of consistent excellence and prolific output across multiple competitions. Salem Al-Dawsari officially surpassed the previous long-standing record holder, a feat that required hundreds of goals scored in domestic leagues, cups, and continental tournaments over more than a decade. This record was solidified during the club's dominant run in the Saudi Pro League and their campaigns for the AFC Champions League.

The significance lies not only in the volume of goals but in the variety; Salem has scored from open play, penalties, free-kicks, and crucial late-game winners. For Al Hilal fans, this record cements Salem's status as an eternal icon. It serves as a benchmark for future generations of Saudi players to aspire to, proving that local talent can lead the club in its most vital offensive statistics while maintaining the highest standards of performance on the Asian stage.
