Technodinamika, JSC (AO Tekhnodinamika) is a Russian holding company founded in 2009 to support the development, production, and export of high-tech civilian aviation products. It was originally called Aviation Equipment Holding and was renamed in 2015. The holding includes 36 aviation industry enterprises spread across Russia. It controls 51% of the Russian aviation components market and produces over 20,000 different products, which are used in nearly all Russian passenger and cargo aircraft.
The company’s corporate structure was shaped by transferring ownership stakes in key developers and manufacturers of aviation systems and components to the holding. In December 2013, Rostec contributed shares of 16 enterprises worth 8.4 billion rubles, increasing the holding’s state capital more than eightfold. In July 2014, Rostec added shares of another 10 enterprises, worth about 3.4 billion rubles, focused on civil aviation systems and assemblies. This allowed Technodinamika to move toward operational management, build complete cooperative chains between its enterprises, cut costs, and improve market introduction of products.
The holding’s subsidiaries include Ufa Research and Development Enterprise Molniya, UAPO, Gidravlika Ufa Aggregate Enterprise, Ufa Design and Project Institute of aviation industry, Leningrad Northern Plant, Aviaagregat, Gidroagregat, Respirator Research and Development Enterprise, Machine-Building Corporation MPO-Rumyantsev, NII Parachutostroeniya, Moscow Design and Production Complex Universal, Znamya Moscow Machine Building Plant, Mayak Machine Building plant, Textile Research Institute, Technodinamika Design center, Aviation Service Center, Electroprivod, Aviation Technology and Production Management Irkutsk Research Institute, Research and Development Enterprise Start, and Kotlas Electromechanical Plant.
Key Russian clients include Sukhoi, United Aircraft Corporation, Aircraft Corporation MIG, Ilyushin Aviation Complex, Tupolev Enterprise, Russian Helicopters Holding, the Ministry of Defense, AVTOVAZ, and airlines such as Aeroflot and UTair. In October 2012, UAC’s CEO Mikhail Pogosyan announced cooperation with Aviation Equipment Holding to create a competence center for takeoff and landing unit assembly.

The holding also expanded into after-sales service, opening an Aircraft Service Center in Moscow in 2012 and a Distribution Center at Sheremetyevo Airport in 2013, with a consignment warehouse for Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 spare parts opened in February 2014 in cooperation with American company WENCOR.
