Stellar Jet is an American aerospace manufacturer, based in Switzerland, that designs hydrogen-powered vertical-takeoff-and-landing (VTOL) aircraft. The company was originally founded as Sirius Aviation AG and later rebranded to Stellar Aircraft (also known as Stellar Aviation), becoming known for developing the Stellar Jet concept.
Founded by Alexey Popov in 2021, the company began with a research and development phase involving over 100 engineers. In February 2024, it struck a deal with the Indian seaplane operator MEHAIR for more than 50 jets, valued at $400 million. The following month, at the MOVE Expo in London, Stellar Jet unveiled two zero-emission aircraft: the CEO Jet and the Adventure Jet. The CEO-Jet is designed for leisure and business travel, while the Adventure Jet is built for adventure-focused flights over mountains, jungles, and other areas typically inaccessible to standard aircraft. Both jets are co-designed by BMW’s Designworks and Sauber Motorsport.
