Jake the Dog
Finn's shape-shifting brother and best friend.
Jake the Dog is one of the two protagonists of Adventure Time, voiced by John DiMaggio. A 28-year-old in "magical dog years", he can stretch, shrink or mould any part of his body to almost any size, and acts as a laid-back mentor to his adoptive brother, Finn the Human.

Background
In "Joshua & Margaret Investigations" it is revealed that his father Joshua was bitten by a shape-shifting creature and then birthed Jake from his head. Jake dates Lady Rainicorn, and they have five puppies in "Jake the Dad". He plays the viola. He dies some time after the finale, and Finn remembers him with a tattoo on his chest. His gender-swapped counterpart is Cake the Cat.
