Philippe Bozon
First French-born NHL player; IIHF Hall of Fame inductee.
Philippe Bozon, a French former professional ice hockey player, suited up for the St. Louis Blues in the NHL from 1991–92 through 1994–95. He was the first of just seven French-born and trained players to reach the league. Now, Bozon is the head coach of the Boxers de Bordeaux in the Ligue Magnus.

Playing career
Philippe Bozon first played junior hockey for the St. Jean Beavers in the QMJHL, then spent four seasons in France. While with the Grenoble Brûleurs de Loups, he captured the 1991 French title. The St. Louis Blues signed him, using him as a defensive forward and occasionally alongside Brett Hull on a scoring line. Following his NHL time, Bozon played in Germany and Switzerland.
