The Initiation of Sarah (2006 film)

Plot

Twin sisters Sarah and Lindsay Goodwin can't wait to start at Temple Hill University. They expect to join the Alpha Nu sorority, just like their mother Trina did years before. Almost immediately, Sarah feels a connection with Finn, a student adviser who invites both sisters to a rush week party hosted by Pi Epsilon Delta.

During the party, they meet Corrine, the president of Alpha Nu. But things go wrong when Sarah accidentally spills a drink on Corrine and runs off in tears. Lindsay chases after her and ends up breaking her ankle. The sisters are taken into the Pi Epsilon Delta house, where a woman named Dr. Eugenia Hunter appears, claiming to be an old friend of their mother.

To their shock, Lindsay's ankle is suddenly healed. The next day, Corrine charms Lindsay during an Alpha Nu meeting. While talking to her, Corrine secretly plucks an eyelash from Lindsay and keeps it.

Later, Dr. Hunter approaches Sarah and reveals that both of them have magical abilities. This disturbs Sarah, especially when Hunter explains that Pi Epsilon Delta and Alpha Nu are locked in a battle between good and evil. According to Hunter, Sarah is the One, a person who could tip the balance of power.

She warns that Alpha Nu wants to sacrifice Sarah to the Eternal Flame using the Knife of Truth, hoping to gain immortality. Troubled, Sarah tries to tell her sister about this, but Lindsay angrily accuses her of always stealing the spotlight. Lindsay storms off in tears.

When Corrine's vice president, Ezme, tells Corrine about the fight, Corrine uses it to manipulate Lindsay. She offers Lindsay beauty and a chance to finally outshine her sister if she joins Alpha Nu. Lindsay eagerly agrees.
