Outta Control
The Massacre track whose Mobb Deep remix climbed to number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100.
"Outta Control" is a 50 Cent song cut for The Massacre, his second studio album, released in 2005. Dr. Dre and Mike Elizondo handled production. A reworked remix with hip-hop duo Mobb Deep became the fourth and last single from the album, swapping in for the original on the re-released edition. Lyrically the track centres on 50 Cent's power to whip a club crowd into a frenzy. The remix became one of his biggest hits of the era, reaching number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100, while the album cut still landed at number 92 on digital sales alone.

Background
The writing credits list 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Mike Elizondo, Prodigy, Havoc, Mark Batson, Chris Pope and Steve Standard. The first album version was an entirely separate song that only shared its title with the later single. When The Massacre was prepared for re-release, the track was picked as the next single and rebuilt as a remix with Mobb Deep and a different sample. Before that, the remix beat had gone to Shady Records rapper Stat Quo, who recorded verses on it, only to learn that 50 Cent had reclaimed the beat for Mobb Deep. Stat Quo later told HipHopDX he understood the call. Because no advance single was issued, buyers downloaded the old version too, so both charted at once. The remix also turned up as a bonus track on Mobb Deep's Blood Money in 2006.
