Characters
Mr. Magoo, voiced by Ian Hanlin, is a happy-go-lucky elderly man who does not wear glasses. His poor vision means he is unaware of what he is doing, yet he remains cheerful and eager to help, often causing more harm than good. Mr. Cat, voiced by Colin Murdock, is Magoo's pet Bull Terrier. Though annoyed by his owner's poor eyesight, he cares deeply for Magoo and rescues him from danger.
Mr. Cat is aware of Fizz's intentions and that Weasel works for Fizz, and he serves as a counterpart to Magoo's original dog, McBarker. Fizz, also voiced by Colin Murdock, is an anthropomorphic evil orange hamster who seeks world domination. His plans are always accidentally ruined by Magoo, leading to a hatred for him. A running gag has Fizz screaming "MAAAAAAAAAAAAGOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" at each episode's end.
Weasel, voiced by Shawn MacDonald, is Fizz's dim-witted human henchman. Magoo sometimes recognizes him but often mistakes him for animals or other people. Mr. Cat resents Weasel and frequently attacks him, biting his legs. Linda, voiced by Mariee Devereux, is one of Magoo's long-suffering neighbors.
Mr. President is a Barack Obama-like figure ruling the country. Marnie, voiced by Jennifer Cameron, is Magoo's love interest, first appearing in "Hats Off Magoo!".
