Educating Greater Manchester 2 is the sixth series of the BAFTA Award-winning British documentary programme Educating, broadcast on Channel 4. It follows earlier installments including Educating Essex, Educating Yorkshire, Educating the East End, Educating Cardiff, and Educating Greater Manchester. The series was originally intended to be the first time the programme returned to the same school, but its broadcast was delayed and condensed after the headmaster resigned amid allegations of off-rolling students.
Production
Channel 4 announced on 24 January 2018 that a second and third series of Educating Greater Manchester would be produced. Following an investigation into the conduct of Drew Povey and Ross Povey, both resigned from their posts, and the episodes were initially not to be aired. Ofsted placed the school into special measures due to failing safeguarding under Povey's leadership, but the school was deemed safe after a new interim headteacher took charge. Channel 4 began airing the second series from 3 November 2020.
