Reception

Sonia Saraiya of Variety described the series as a lightweight half-hour blending horror thriller and teen soap, noting it never became interesting enough to transcend predictable zombie horror or plodding young adult angst. Neil Genzlinger of The New York Times remarked that while much felt familiar in the age of zombie TV, the short episodes made the show easy to consume. Emily Longeretta of Hollywoodlife.com called it "The Walking Dead meets The Breakfast Club." On Rotten Tomatoes, season 1 had 4 reviews, with 3 positive and 1 negative.
